COPY Commandlet

The COPY commandlet is used to copy a file from one location to another location.

Usage

copy sourcepath [targetpath]

The sourcepath and targetpath arguments should be valid paths as defined in the Pathing documentation.

Examples

copy :file1 :file2

Copies file named "file1" to a new file named "file2" in the same directory.

copy :file1 path1

Copies file named "file1" to a directory named "path1".

copy path1:file1

Copies file named "file1" from "path1" to the current directory.

copy path1:*

Copies all files from "path1" to the current directory.
